The role involves preparing food by measuring, mixing, and preparing ingredients, sauces, and seasonings. You will also be responsible for washing, chopping, and cutting fruit, meat, and vegetables. Additionally, keeping the kitchen organized is essential, including cleaning stations, washing and drying equipment, and ensuring fresh produce and ingredients are readily available. It is crucial to ensure proper presentation by plating meal items under the chef de partie's supervision. Continually developing culinary knowledge is necessary to produce high-quality meals. Other duties include monitoring kitchen equipment, reporting issues to superiors, assessing inventory, requesting resupply when necessary, disposing of spoiled items, and adhering to sanitation policies. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as food provided, leave encashment, paid time off, and Provident Fund. The preferred shift availability is Day Shift.
