Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Claims Processing & Medical Billing:

  Accurately process medical claims, review Explanation of Benefits (EOB), and update patient billing records.

• Data Management:

  Enter, verify, and update patient demographic data, insurance details, and transaction codes into database software or electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Written Communication:

  Handle internal or external client/patient queries professionally via email, secure messaging, or chat support.

• Prior Authorization:

  Review medical procedures and request prior authorizations via online insurance portals to ensure timely patient care and compliant billing.

• Quality & Compliance:

  Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines, desktop procedures, and data security standards.

• Productivity Goals:

  Meet daily and weekly targets for transaction volume, accuracy percentage, and turnaround time
