As a Vulnerability Management/VAPT professional at TCS, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Expertise on Vulnerability Management tools such as Rapid7, Qualys, and Tenable. - Hands-on experience in implementing and managing security vulnerabilities for both on-premises and cloud environments. - Proficiency in setting up vulnerability scanning profiles. - Strong knowledge and understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle. - Familiarity with system security vulnerabilities, remediation techniques, and tactics. - Understanding of vulnerability testing methodology and the ability to effectively communicate testing findings to managers and network administrators. - Capability to explain complex technology to non-technical audiences in a simple and precise manner. - Good grasp of the risk score acceptance process for vulnerabilities. - In-depth knowledge of application security risks and testing methods, particularly in relation to OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25 vulnerabilities. - Experience with tools like Burp Suite, HCL Appscan, Acunetix, Sql Map, nMAP, etc. - Ability to fine-tune tools for improved performance and reduced false positives. - Providing customers with remediation advice and best practice recommendations. - Staying updated on industry trends related to application security testing. - Supporting infrastructure and tooling for security capabilities. - Researching the latest security threats and emerging tooling.
