As an experienced Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with top Global clients like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and more. Your main responsibility will be delivering new functionality for the internal production platform and implementing enhancements. It will also be your duty to monitor and optimize application performance. Collaboration with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Data Operation, and IT Support teams throughout the software development life cycle is essential. To excel in this role, you should possess 3 to 5 years of software development experience with expertise in Ruby software development, Web Services/Application Development, and working with Relational Databases, especially Oracle or any NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Ruby database libraries like Sequel and Active Record, as well as exposure to Javascript development frameworks, particularly EXT JS, is highly desirable. Proficiency in source code control systems such as Git and database tools like SQL Developer is crucial. Any experience with Cloud platforms, mainly Azure, will be considered an added advantage. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with a geographically distributed software development team.
