VMC Operator Cum Setter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Setter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with precision measuring instruments. As a Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in handling various tools and equipment will contribute significantly to our manufacturing operations.

Duties

• Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control.
• Operate stamping presses and other equipment as required for production tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CAD designs and SolidWorks models into the production process.
• Conduct materials handling tasks, ensuring proper storage and organization of components.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and equipment settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with Manual programming in VMC milling machines
• Experience with hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
