Visual & Graphic Design Associate

Role Overview: You will be joining the Design team at IIHS as a visual and graphics design associate, playing a crucial role in creating visually compelling designs that align with the institution's brand identity and communication objectives. Your creative mindset, attention to detail, and passion for producing high-quality visual content will be key in this role. This is a contractual engagement for an initial term of 11 months, with the potential to transition into a regular position over time. Key Responsibilities: - Creating and designing visual content for various digital and print media, such as books, reports, infographics, social media graphics, event collateral, presentations, and advertisements - Ensuring all design work adheres to IIHS brand guidelines for consistent visual identity across all channels - Collaborating with the design team, marketing team, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver on design briefs - Participating in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative design ideas that engage the target audience - Managing a library of visual assets for easy access by the team - Utilizing industry-standard design software like Adobe Creative Suite for graphic creation and editing - Conducting quality reviews to ensure error-free design work - Managing multiple design projects, meeting deadlines, and communicating project status effectively with team members - Staying updated on design trends and best practices to enhance creativity - Supporting other IIHS activities and carrying out assigned tasks - Coordinating with the Head of Communications and Design or designated personnel for effective collaboration with internal and external teams Qualifications Required: - Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Graphic design, Visual Communication, or related discipline from a Design/Art school - 4-6 years of graphic design experience - Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of design projects and aesthetic sense - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) - Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles - Language proficiency in English, Kannada, or Hindi - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Strong time management abilities for handling multiple projects - Knowledge of web design principles and UI/UX concepts is a plus - Additional skills such as Photography, Drawing/Sketching, Animation, HTML, Web-programming, WordPress, or CMS based web applications would be advantageous Company Details: (Omitted as there are no additional details provided in the JD),
