As a Visual Communication intern at GreenFuturz Inc., you will play a crucial role in elevating the brand through compelling design. Collaborating with marketing and product teams, your responsibilities will include creating engaging visuals for social media, website, presentations, and print collateral. Additionally, you will develop infographics, icons, and UI mockups to simplify complex RFID & IoT concepts. Your role will also involve assisting in brainstorming and storyboarding for video and animation projects, ensuring brand consistency across design assets, supporting ad-hoc design requests, and participating in feedback sessions. Qualifications required for this role include currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field. You should have a strong portfolio showcasing typography, layout, and information design, along with a basic understanding of UX/UI principles and wireframing. Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, a self-starter mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment are essential attributes. The internship offers hands-on experience in visual storytelling for emerging tech such as RFID and IoT, best practices in UX/UI design and information design, exposure to industry-standard tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, collaborative workflows in an agile, cross-functional environment, and professional critique and iteration processes. In addition to the valuable learning experiences, you will receive a monthly stipend and travel allowance, mentorship from senior designers and product managers, the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance, flexible hours, and a hybrid work model.
