Virtual Quality Control Technician

You will join Geomiq as a Virtual Quality Control Technician at our Bengaluru office, playing a crucial role in verifying quality documents and inspection reports to ensure that supplied parts meet customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include reviewing vendor-uploaded inspection reports, validating vendor material certificates, and assessing images and videos of manufactured parts. You will collaborate with the order management team to address quality issues, suggest proactive solutions, and maintain clear documentation of decisions. To excel in this role, you should possess strong attention to detail, basic knowledge of tolerances, GD&T, and engineering drawings, as well as proficiency in using Google Suite. Effective communication skills in English are essential for communicating quality issues with suppliers. Desired experience includes familiarity with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, reviewing 3D models, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. While 0 to 2 years of relevant experience is required, prior experience in reading and reviewing engineering drawings is beneficial.
