Role & responsibilities Appoint and develop Primary Dealers (PDs) in assigned zones based on company-defined criteria. Drive retail counter onboarding , conversion of focus SKUs, and repeat ordering. Execute and monitor beat-based sales plans across districts and towns. Collect secondary retailer orders and route them through appointed PDs for fulfillment. Ensure timely dispatch, issue resolution, and coordination with accounts and delivery teams. Track zone-wise performance: sales, conversions, retention, and PD productivity. Guide and monitor field sales staff on daily activities, reporting, and discipline. Build strong relationships with wholesalers, PDs, and key retailers. Submit regular reports on market feedback, competitor activity, and growth opportunities. Maintain strict compliance on pricing, reporting, and cash-handling policies. Preferred candidate profile 510 years of experience in field sales, distributor management, or retail conversion Preferred industries: Tools, FMCG, Hardware, Electricals, Building Materials Experience in working with Primary Dealers, Secondary Retailers , and beat-based execution Fluent in Hindi and local language of the region; working knowledge of English Strong ownership mindset ability to operate independently and manage performance metrics Should be comfortable with daily travel and fieldwork (20–25 store visits/day target)
