Key Responsibilities: Operate EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes to lift and move heavy transformer parts, including cores, coils, tanks, and other assemblies. Ensure safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with shop floor personnel to coordinate lifting and movement activities. Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of the crane and lifting gear. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a hazard-free work environment. Keep daily records/logs of crane operations and report any faults or incidents. Assist in rigging and slinging as per lifting plans and load requirements. Support in handling and storage of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods as per instructions.
