Video Editor

This is a hybrid/on-site role based in Kolkata, where you’ll collaborate with the branding and creative teams to conceptualize, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for digital and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, campaigns, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand narrative goals and brand tone.
• Add text overlays, transitions, color grading, and music/sound effects to enhance storytelling.
• Manage and organize video assets, maintaining a structured workflow and backups.
• Optimize video formats for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Meta Ads etc.).
• Support on-shoot requirements such as framing, camera assistance, or b-roll direction.
• Stay updated on social media trends, editing styles, and storytelling formats.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in professional video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Capcut, AI video generation, DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong storytelling sense with attention to pacing, rhythm, and emotion.
• Understanding of aspect ratios, export settings, and platform specifications.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have (Optional)

• Motion graphics, animation, color grading expertise.
• Background in content creation or digital marketing.

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Mode: Hybrid/On-site (mix of on-site shoots & remote editing)
