Role Overview: You will be a part of hoichoi, an on-demand video streaming entertainment platform for Bengali's worldwide. As a video editor, you will focus on editing short-format content aligned with social media trends. Your role will involve translating concepts into creative videos, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring on-time delivery of edits. Key Responsibilities: - Understand briefs and transform concepts into creative and innovative videos, ensuring timely delivery - Create concept boards and visual representations for multiple projects - Edit raw footage, incorporating necessary elements like audio, graphics, and color grading to produce rough cut files based on the script/story sequence - Edit social media content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, considering the web codecs and platform nuances - Collaborate with various teams (Production, Creative, Content Marketing) to deliver videos within defined timelines - Stay updated with the latest trends and practices across different mediums and platforms Qualifications Required: - Minimum 1 year of proven work experience as an Editor in a production house/creative agency or similar setup - Proficiency in editing software and programs such as Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects - Strong multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail - Ability to adhere to delivery timelines is crucial for this role,
