Were seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can bring celebrity stories to life with engaging edits, crisp pacing, and rich visuals. You should either be deeply familiar with Nigerian and African celebrities, or have the research skills to get every name, face, and detail exactly right.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble engaging YouTube videos with dynamic pacing, smooth transitions, and eye-catching graphics.
• Research, source, and integrate

  high-resolution footage and images

  from reputable sources to match the story and maintain visual quality.
• Ensure accurate representation of Nigerian and African celebrities, events, and cultural references.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling storytelling formats that align with the channels style.
• Fact-check all visual and narrative content for accuracy and authenticity.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience editing for YouTube, preferably in entertainment, celebrity news, or pop culture.
• Strong command of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Familiarity with Nigerian and African entertainment culture

  , or proven ability to research and capture it accurately.
• Skilled in sourcing the highest-quality available visuals and audio.
• Attention to detail, strong storytelling instincts, and an eye for pacing.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to shifting content needs.
