This role is for someone who:

• Has great editing taste
• Uses

  to add motion graphics, kinetic text.
• Constantly pushes themselves to make videos cooler, sharper, and more engaging

Key Responsibilities

1. High-Retention Short-Form Editing

• Edit Reels/Shorts with strong hooks, fast pacing, and clean cuts.
• Remove dead time, tighten dialogue, and maintain rhythm.
• Optimize every second for watch time.
  

2. Motion Graphics & Visual Enhancements (After Effects)

• Use

  After Effects

  for:
• Kinetic typography
• Motion captions
• Animated callouts & highlights
• Subtle transitions and visual effects
  
• Enhance storytelling without overdoing effects.
  

3. Trend Awareness & Experimentation

• Stay updated with trending formats, captions styles, and editing patterns.
• Suggest new visual ideas and experiment with fresh styles.
• Adapt edits to platform behavior (Instagram & YouTube Shorts).
  

4. Collaboration & Creative Input

• Work closely with content creators and strategy team.
• Suggest improvements in structure, pacing, or visuals.
• Be proactive not just execute, but enhance.
  

5. Quality & Consistency

• Deliver clean, polished edits with attention to detail.
• Maintain brand consistency across all videos.
• Balance speed with quality.
  

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills

• Strong command of

  Premiere Pro

• Working knowledge of

  After Effects

  for motion graphics
• Good sense of color, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Experience editing short-form social content
