Video Editor

Video / Reel Specialist creates, edits, and publishes engaging short-form video content, primarily for platforms like Instagram and TikTok. They are responsible for developing creative concepts, shooting, editing, and optimizing videos to align with brand strategy and engage target audiences. This role requires strong technical skills in video editing software, knowledge of social media trends, and the ability to analyze content performance. Responsibilities:

• Content Creation and Editing:Develop and produce high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing short-form videos (Reels, Shorts) for social media platforms.
• Trend Awareness:Stay updated on the latest social media trends, music, and editing styles to ensure content is relevant and engaging.
• Video Optimization:Optimize videos for maximum reach and engagement on different platforms, including using relevant hashtags, captions, and trending topics.
• Brand Alignment:Ensure all video content aligns with the brand's voice, visual style, and messaging.
• Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with marketing teams, content creators, and other stakeholders to develop video concepts, storylines, and ensure content aligns with brand objectives.
• Performance Analysis:Track and analyze video performance metrics (views, engagement, audience retention) to identify successful formats and optimize future content.
• Technical Proficiency:Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools is essential.
• Creative Storytelling:Develop compelling narratives and storylines through video to engage and connect with the target audience.
• Equipment Management:Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and easily accessible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
• Proven experience in creating engaging and high-quality video content for social media.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video production and editing skills.
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms and what makes video content successful on each.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new trends and technologies.
