Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team at Catalyst, Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing techniques and be capable of creating engaging visual content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality videos
Add graphics, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music as required
Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to understand content requirements
Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives
Optimize video content for social media, websites, and other digital platforms
Maintain organized project files and meet assigned deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual storytelling
Understanding of video formats, frame rates, and export settings
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good communication and coordination skills

Experience:

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
Freshers with strong editing skills and a portfolio may also apply

Education:

Any graduate or diploma in Media, Animation, Visual Communication, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
