Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Video Editor to become a part of our creative team. Your role will involve editing video content for various platforms such as social media, YouTube, websites, and ads. Your ability to merge sight and sound to narrate a captivating story will be crucial. Your responsibilities will include editing raw footage to create refined video content, incorporating music, graphics, subtitles, effects, and transitions. Additionally, you will be required to trim footage segments, arrange the video sequence logically, and ensure a smooth flow. Collaboration with content creators, marketers, or clients is essential. Staying updated with the latest editing techniques and tools is expected, along with managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. The qualifications for this position include proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio or demo reel to showcase your work. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is necessary. An understanding of audio mixing and color correction, a creative mindset, storytelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to incorporate feedback are crucial. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of motion graphics or animation, experience with social media content formats and trends, and a basic understanding of camera formats and codecs.
