Mid-Level Video Editor

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with brand and project objectives
• Add background music, voiceovers, sound effects, captions, and graphics as required.
• Perform color correction, basic color grading, and visual enhancements for consistent output quality.
• Create and optimize video content for multiple platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, websites, and paid campaigns.
• Work closely with marketing, content, design, and social media teams to understand briefs and creative direction.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently from stakeholders and senior team members.
• Maintain proper organization of video files, raw footage, assets, and project timelines.
• Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines, visual identity, and messaging tone.
• Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience as a Video Editor
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, frame rates, and compression techniques
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects.
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong time-management and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with motion graphics and animations
• Knowledge of social media video trends and short-form content (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
• Basic understanding of camera setups, lighting, and audio recording.
• Experience working with brand or corporate video content.
