Vice President-Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test cross-platform software with proficiency - Demonstrate expertise in UI/UX design and development - Utilize version control, continuous integration, deployment, and configuration management tools effectively - Debug both new and existing software efficiently - Implement REST APIs and microservice architecture - Work in a high-paced environment with tight deadlines, demonstrating self-motivation - Communicate technical concepts effectively through both written and oral means Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field - 10 to 15 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related role - Strong core and server-side Java software development experience - Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Sybase, SQL Server) - Grounding in identity and privilege management concepts - Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# - Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, database design principles, and object-relational mapping frameworks - Experience with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) - Hands-on experience with at least one Cloud Service Provider Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders - Attention to detail and proactive approach to ensuring system resiliency, data integrity, and stakeholder management Join the Entitlements Platform team at Goldman Sachs to contribute to building the required logical security controls that facilitate the firm's adherence to regulatory and compliance policies.
