We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Head to lead our Quality Assurance and Management System initiatives. The ideal candidate must be IATF 16949 certified and have a proven track record of managing quality functions in the rubber or auto components manufacturing sector. Key Requirements: Minimum qualification BE/BTech In Mechanical/Polymer. Minimum 8 years of experience in quality management in rubber/plastic molding or automotive component manufacturing. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards. Hands-on experience in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, MSA, and SPC. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills. Ability to interact confidently with customers and auditors. Role Overview: Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements. Conduct and oversee internal audits, process audits, and supplier audits. Handling a strong management system throughout the functions. Face domestic and International customer audits. Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure implementation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA in product and process development. Maintain and improve inspection and testing systems (incoming, in-process, and final inspection). Lead customer quality interactions and support during audits and visits. Monitor and improve key quality metrics like rejection rate, PPM levels, and customer returns. Train and guide cross-functional teams on quality tools and standards. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and supply chain to ensure product and process compliance. Lead and manage team of quality engineers.
