Vertical milling Machine programmer

Job Description Role Overview: As a VMC programmer and Operator, your primary role will be to operate and program Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to produce precision parts and components as per the specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate VMC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, reaming, tapping, and cutting. - Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the machining operations required. - Program VMC machines using G-code or CAM software to achieve the desired results. - Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines and procedures. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Proven experience as a VMC programmer and operator. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. - Strong knowledge of machining processes and tooling. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
