Parent Company: Verder Scientific India Division: QATM (Quality Analysis Testing Machines) Location: New Delhi QATM, a division of Verder Scientific India, is a leading provider of Materialography and Hardness Testing Solutions for the metallurgical and industrial sectors. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist with technical expertise to join our team and contribute to the growth of our Materialography and Hardness Testing Solutions division. Responsibilities: - Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for QATM's range of metallographic equipment, hardness testers, sample preparation systems, and related laboratory solutions. - Conduct technical product demonstrations, lab visits, and effective sales presentations to showcase QATM's equipment capabilities to prospective clients. - Provide technical consultancy and solutions to customers based on their specific material testing requirements. - Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives and decision-makers in the industrial and metallurgical sectors. - Prepare comprehensive sales reports, analyzing growth trends and identifying opportunities for improvement. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related Engineering discipline. - 3-5 years of sales experience in the industrial/technical sales domain, with a strong focus on materialography, hardness testing equipment, and industrial laboratories. - Extensive practical knowledge of metallographic sample preparation techniques, including cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching processes. - In-depth understanding of hardness testing methods, such as Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, and hardness testing, as well as microhardness testing techniques. - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. - Strong negotiation and consultative selling abilities. - Target-driven and capable of working independently. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with operating and maintaining metallographic equipment, hardness testers, and related laboratory instruments. - Knowledge of international standards and specifications related to materialography and hardness testing (ASTM, ISO, etc.). - Familiarity with quality control processes and requirements in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. - Strong knowledge of CRM platforms and sales processes. Reporting: You will Primarily be reporting to the Area Sales Manager.
