Job Description

As a Backup Administrator at our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backup strategies for both physical and virtual servers. Your primary duties will include monitoring backup jobs, troubleshooting failures, and performing restore operations as needed. It will be essential for you to ensure compliance with data retention policies and disaster recovery procedures while collaborating closely with infrastructure and application teams to optimize backup performance. In this role, you will also be expected to administer and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication environments. Capacity planning and storage utilization analysis will be among your regular tasks, along with the maintenance of documentation for backup configurations, procedures, and recovery plans. Working at Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to learn about replication setup and management, as well as various restore operations including file-level, VM-level, and application-level restores. You will be a part of mission-critical projects that focus on securing and optimizing networks for Fortune 500 clients.
