VB.Net Developer- Desktop

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining desktop applications using VB.NET. You will also debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications, develop reusable and scalable code, and integrate databases and third-party components. Collaboration with other team members to deliver high-quality software and maintaining proper documentation will be key tasks. Additionally, you will optimize application performance, user experience, and conduct unit and integration testing. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using VB.NET - Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications - Develop reusable, efficient, and scalable code - Integrate databases (MS SQL Server or Access) and third-party components - Collaborate with other developers, testers, and project managers - Maintain proper documentation for software development processes - Optimize application performance and user experience - Perform unit and integration testing Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience in VB.NET desktop application development - Strong knowledge of VB.NET, Windows Forms, and .NET Framework - Experience with SQL Server / MS Access - Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) - Familiarity with version control systems (like Git) is a plus Additional Details: This is a full-time job with a day shift schedule. The work location is in Kalyani, Kolkata, West Bengal, and you are required to commute/relocate to this location for in-person work.,
