Job Profile: Junior Financial Analyst Position Title: Financial Analyst Department / Division: CFO Services Division & Valuation Division Reporting To: Director Location: Balewadi, Pune (On-site) Experience Required: 1–2 Years of relevant experience in financial analysis, MIS reporting, or valuation support. Compensation: ₹9,00,000 per annum (CTC) Role Overview: The Financial Analyst will play an integral role in supporting the CFO Services and Valuation teams by preparing structured MIS reports, projection models, dashboards, and valuation models. The role requires strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Python-based automation, Power BI, and Tableau for financial data visualisation and reporting. The candidate will work directly with senior management and client leadership teams to interpret financial data, design analytical frameworks, and present actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: 1. MIS & Management Reporting Develop and maintain comprehensive MIS reports covering financial and operational KPIs for client organisations. Automate periodic reporting through Excel macros, Power Query, and Python-based scripts. Support monthly/quarterly performance analysis and board-level reporting. Identify reporting gaps and enhance data presentation for management decision-making. 2. Financial Modelling & Projections Prepare financial projection models incorporating revenue, cost, and cash flow assumptions. Assist in building integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements . Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess business performance under multiple cases. Maintain model documentation and ensure version control and data accuracy. 3. Valuation Assignments Assist in preparing valuation models (DCF, Comparable Companies, Transaction Multiples). Perform financial due diligence and industry/peer benchmarking. Support the preparation of valuation reports and presentation materials for clients and investors. Handle large data sets for valuation analysis using Excel and BI tools. 4. Dashboard & Automation Create and manage interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for real-time insights. Build automated reporting solutions using Python, VBA, or Power Query. Standardise recurring analytical processes and contribute to efficiency improvements across projects. 5. Client & Management Interaction Coordinate with client management teams to gather financial data and clarify assumptions. Present analytical insights and findings to the CFO and senior management of client companies. Participate in client meetings, performance reviews, and project discussions. Required Skills & Competencies: Advanced Excel proficiency , including use of formulas, macros, and financial modelling. Python scripting skills for data automation and analytics, preferred. Strong knowledge of Power BI, Tableau , and dashboard development. Expertise in PowerPoint for creating high-quality presentations and management decks. Knowledge to use AI tools. Strong understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities. Strong communication and presentation skills. High attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet tight deadlines. Educational Qualifications: CA / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) / CFA (preferred qualification). Additional certifications in financial modelling, BI tools, or analytics will be an added advantage. Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a growth-driven enterprise. Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities. Budget : 60 Lakhs p.a.
