Executive / Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager Sales (New Business Development & Regional Business Development) Department : Sales Industry : Logistics / Transportation / Supply Chain Location : South Region Reporting to : Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager Role Purpose: To acquire new business (NBD) and develop regional business (RBD) accounts by identifying potential clients, understanding their logistics needs, and offering suitable services. The goal is to generate revenue growth and maintain healthy customer relationships across assigned territories. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development (NBD) Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the assigned territory. Conduct market mapping and cold calls to generate leads. Pitch logistics solutions (FTL, PTL, Warehousing, Express, etc.) to prospective customers. Prepare and present customized proposals/quotes. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for new client acquisition. Regional Business Development (RBD) Manage and grow business from existing regional customers. Conduct periodic review meetings with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues. Upsell and cross-sell logistics solutions as per business need. Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure service delivery. Reporting & Analysis Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM tools. Provide regular MIS reports on sales performance, market feedback, and competition insights. Ensure documentation and contracts are in line with company policies. Internal Coordination Work closely with pricing, operations, and finance teams for smooth client onboarding and service delivery. Assist in resolving escalations related to service or billing.
