About the Role:

The candidate should be capable of translating business requirements and customer needs into effective user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready UI designs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design end-to-end customer journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Create visually appealing, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces for web applications and webshops. - Develop and maintain reusable design systems, UI components, and design guidelines. - Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences. - Translate business requirements into user-centric design solutions. - Ensure consistency across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. - Work closely with development teams during implementation, providing design specifications and developer handover. - Review implemented designs and ensure alignment with approved UX/UI specifications. - Apply UX best practices, usability principles, and accessibility standards. - Understand JavaScript fundamentals and collaborate effectively with frontend developers during UI implementation.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- Proven work experience as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or in a similar design role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Figma for wireframing, UI design, and prototyping. - Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals with practical working experience or exposure to JavaScript-based web development. - Strong knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first design principles. - Experience designing customer journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. - Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable UI components. - Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts to ensure effective collaboration with frontend developers. - Experience with developer handover, design documentation, and design-to-development collaboration. - Strong understanding of usability, interaction design, and visual design principles.

Good to Have:

- Experience in B2B platforms, eCommerce, or webshop design.
- Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and web accessibility standards. - Experience designing product catalogues, product listing pages, and product detail pages. - Experience working on multilingual applications and interfaces. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Experience collaborating with frontend technologies and modern web application frameworks.
