The School Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. This role is critical in maintaining a welcoming front office environment while efficiently managing administrative and clerical duties to support the daily operations of the school. Front Desk & Communication: Greet visitors, parents, and students in a professional and friendly manner. Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and messages. Respond to general inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff or department. Maintain visitor logs and issue gate passes as per school security protocol. Administrative Support: Handle student attendance records, late arrivals, and early dismissals. Maintain student and staff records in the school management system. Support admission procedures by scheduling appointments and sharing information. Assist in preparation of letters, circulars, and reports. Receive and distribute mail and courier packages. Event & Coordination Tasks: Help coordinate meetings, parent interactions, and school events. Communicate with vendors or service providers for office needs. Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for smooth operations. Office Management: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming. Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies. Ensure all school policies and procedures are followed in the reception area.
