Department: Aviation Location: URBX Pilot and Aviation Academy LLP Position Type: Full-time Reports To:Head of Department Position Summary: The Aviation Faculty Member is responsible for teaching, research, curriculum development, and student mentoring in aviation-related programs. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic and professional preparation of students pursuing careers in aviation, aeronautics, air traffic control, aviation safety, aviation management, or flight operations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality instruction in aviation-related courses such as aerodynamics, aircraft systems, aviation law, air traffic control, flight operations, and aviation safety. Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments. Supervise and advise students on academic progress and career planning. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and accreditation processes. Conduct scholarly research or engage in professional development relevant to the aviation field. Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to internship and placement opportunities for students. Support the institution’s mission through service activities and community engagement. Qualifications : Required : Master's degree in Aviation. Relevant professional experience in aviation or aerospace industry. Demonstrated teaching ability at the college/university level. Strong communication and organizational skills.
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced IATA Aviation Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering IATA-certified training programs aimed at enhancing the skills, knowledge, and safety standards of aviation professionals. This role includes conducting interactive classroom and online sessions, workshops, and seminars in compliance with IATA guidelines. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver IATA-certified training programs and courses in accordance with international standards. • Conduct training sessions that cover practical and theoretical aspects of aviation, including passenger ground services, airline operations, safety, and regulations. • Facilitate both classroom and virtual instructor-led training, engaging a diverse, multicultural student body. • Assess trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure learning objectives are met. • Keep up to date with the latest IATA standards, procedures, and industry best practices. • Assist students with overcoming technical and training-related challenges during virtual sessions. • Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to align training delivery with academy goals. Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the aviation industry or aviation training, preferably with hands-on experience in IATA-related courses. • Proven experience in delivering instructor-led training, both in-person and virtually. • Strong understanding of IATA regulations, operational standards, and training content. • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with virtual classroom platforms. • Ability to adapt instructional techniques to meet diverse learner needs and maintain high engagement levels. Must have MBA in Aviation Management and IATA Certification Desirable: • Experience in instructional design and curriculum development. • Familiarity with the latest virtual training technologies and tools.
