Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to oversee and optimize the daily operations at Urban Milker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supply chain logistics, ensuring product quality, streamlining production processes, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. Additionally, as we expand into the retail sector, the Director of Operations will play a key role in developing and managing retail operations, establishing distribution channels, and ensuring seamless retail execution. Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end dairy supply chain, from milk collection to final delivery. Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality standards in milk processing and packaging. Implement efficient operational workflows to minimize wastage and maximize productivity. Supervise and coordinate with farmers, logistics teams, and delivery personnel. Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships. Monitor and improve operational KPIs, including production efficiency and customer satisfaction. Lead a team, train staff, and build a culture of continuous improvement. Work closely with co-founders and other departments to align operations with business goals. Develop and manage retail operations, including setting up distribution channels and ensuring product availability in retail outlets. Identify and collaborate with retail partners to expand the market presence of Urban Milker. Monitor sales performance in the retail sector and implement strategies to optimise revenue and customer engagement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in operations management in the dairy industry. Willing to relocate or currently based in Katihar or Purnia. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Experience in supply chain management and process optimisation. Proficiency in data analysis and operational reporting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
