As a Java & Microservices Developer specializing in the UPI domain with 4 to 5 years of experience in Bangalore, your primary responsibilities will revolve around collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze UPI and banking systems requirements. Your role will entail ensuring the high availability and scalability of developed services, writing clean and well-documented code, conducting unit testing, and actively participating in code reviews. It will be crucial for you to optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and uphold security measures and compliance with banking regulations and UPI protocols. To excel in this role, you must possess extensive hands-on experience in Java (Java 8+), along with a strong background in building microservices using Spring Boot. Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, API integration, UPI architecture, transaction flows, and NPCI standards is essential. Additionally, familiarity with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQL, and relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL is required. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven, exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and an understanding of banking systems and regulatory compliance will be advantageous. Preferred qualifications for this position include knowledge of ISO 8583 or similar financial transaction standards, experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment. In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a proactive team player attitude, are highly valued in this role.
