Job Description

As a Sound Designer for Unreal Engine projects, your responsibilities will include: - Designing, creating, and implementing high-quality sound effects, ambient audio, Foley, and UI sounds. - Building and optimizing audio systems using Unreal Engine's Audio Engine, MetaSounds, Sound Cues, and Submixes. - Collaborating closely with designers, animators, and developers to ensure audio aligns with gameplay, environment, and narrative. - Mixing and mastering in-game audio to meet clarity, loudness standards, and emotional impact requirements. - Integrating interactive audio through Blueprints, triggers, and gameplay logic. - Troubleshooting and optimizing audio performance, including voices, CPU usage, memory usage, and concurrency. - Maintaining a consistent audio style and quality throughout the project. To qualify for this position, you should have: - 0-2+ years of experience in sound design or game audio engineering. - Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine's audio system, including Sound Cues, MetaSounds, Submixes & Effects, and Audio Components & Attenuation. - Proficiency in audio editing and mixing using tools such as Reaper, Pro Tools, Ableton, Audition, and Logic Pro. - Strong understanding of 3D spatial audio, reverb zones, occlusion, and environmental acoustics. - Ability to implement interactive audio using Blueprints and gameplay logic. - Experience in creating SFX, Foley, ambience, UI sounds, and adaptive audio. - A strong portfolio showcasing sound design for games or real-time projects. If you join our team, you will be based in Chennai on a full-time basis with a salary ranging from 18,000 to 25,000 INR per month.
