Job Title: Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) Developer Lead Location: [Remote] Type: Full-Time Experience: 8–10+ Years About the Role We are expanding our eCommerce operations on Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) and are looking for a skilled Magento 2 Backend (or Full Stack) Developer to join our team. We are looking for someone who can work as an Individual contributor and also mentor/lead a small team. This role is focused on building custom modules, extending Magento’s core functionality, and supporting the business with robust backend solutions across catalog, checkout, customer, and integration workflows, enhancing our B2C and B2B customer experience. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules , plugins, and backend features Extend and customize core Magento functionalities (catalog, checkout, customer, sales, etc.) Integrate third-party systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, shipping APIs) via REST/GraphQL APIs Build and manage custom admin panel components and workflows Work on data import/export scripts, cron jobs, Magento CLI, and scheduled tasks Troubleshoot bugs and implement fixes in collaboration with QA and frontend teams Write clean, modular, well-documented code aligned with Magento 2 coding standards Participate in code reviews and follow version control workflows (Git) Ensure backend solutions are scalable, secure, and performant Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in Magento 2 backend development Strong command over PHP 7/8 , MySQL , Composer , and Magento OOP architecture Deep understanding of Magento’s dependency injection , observers , plugins , service contracts , and repositories Experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs Proficient in Magento CLI , cron jobs , indexers , and custom entity development Magento 2 Certified Developer (Associate or Professional) Experience working in a B2B Magento environment Familiarity with Adobe Commerce (Enterprise Edition) Exposure to frontend templating (basic PHTML understanding) Familiar with version control (Git), staging workflows, and deployment best practices Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams What We Offer Opportunity to work on a modern Magento 2 stack on Adobe Commerce Cloud Remote work flexibility and a strong development-driven culture Exposure to end-to-end eCommerce processes and 3rd-party integrations Competitive salary and performance incentives How to Apply: Please submit your resume and portfolio (via Linkedin or email).
