About the Role The Senior Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the organization's training programs at the city level. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including trainers, trainees, and college administration, to deliver high-impact training sessions aligned with the organization’s mission. About the Role The Senior Program Facilitator is a strong flagbearer of gender equality who loves to teach and help others grow. You will bridge the gap between the current skills and aptitude levels of women with the local industry requirements, use latest learning methodologies to helps women deepen their understanding of the self, unlock their potential, and build supportive communities of learning. Key Responsibilities · Do need analysis to understand the base level on skills and mindset of the beneficiaries. · Collaborate with Industry clients to identify the skills and other requirements. · Create customized content for the skill, mindset and exposure tracks. · Build partnerships with other organizations to create/enhance the curriculum. · Facilitate engaging training sessions for the beneficiaries. · Conduct field/digital exposure visits to partner organizations. · Assess the impact of the trainings and implement the learnings. · Evolve training strategies by collecting and analysing feedback data. · Ensure compliance with the Umeed’s processes on documentation, reporting, logistics etc. You’ll be a good fit if you · Have knowledge and are passionate about gender inequality and its impact on Indian communities. · Have basic subject matter knowledge in teaching math, communicative English, and life skills. · Have strong project management and facilitation skills. · Enjoy researching and building content based on adult learning principles · Have prior experience working in social sector/up-skilling programs, especially with women beneficiaries. · Have Bachelor’s or Master's (in Social Work/ Mgmt/ Development/ Gender Studies) desirable not essential. · Enjoy problem solving, decision making and can operate with minimal guidance. · Can speak and write fluently in Telugu (Must) and English and have good presentation skills. · At-least 2 years of experience in up-skilling programs/facilitation/teaching/livelihood trainings. You will champion advocacy efforts, secure necessary permits, enable smooth coordination, and represent the organization across multi-stakeholder platforms to advance program effectiveness and influence policy outcomes. Key Responsibilities · Government Engagement & Representation Cultivate and maintain strong connections with government authorities at national, state, and local levels. Coordinate meetings, official visits, workshops, and negotiations with ministries, local councils, and regulatory bodies. Monitor and analyze policy, regulatory, and legislative developments; advise senior leadership accordingly. · Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement Identify potential partners, including NGOs, UN agencies, and community leaders, and pursue collaboration. Represent the organization in clusters, consortia, forums, and coordination platforms. Develop briefing notes, position papers, talking point s, and policy updates for internal and external audiences. · Compliance, Permissions & Admin Coordination Oversee acquisition and renewal of government approvals (e.g., registration, licensing, permits), in collaboration with Finance and Program teams. Maintain robust tracking systems for permits, visas, and official documentation. Ensure adherence to NGO regulatory requirements, immigration, taxation, and administrative laws. · Capacity Building & Internal Support Train field and program teams on government engagement protocols and best practices. Facilitate internal workshops and updates on changing regulations and policies. Support report drafting, communications, and document translation as needed. · Reporting & Strategic Input Provide weekly/monthly summaries to the Country Director and leadership on government relations and upcoming regulatory changes. Contribute to strategic planning and operational risk assessments focused on government interaction.
