UI/UX Designer Internship/Contract Role

As a UI/UX Designer Intern/Contractor at our company based in Vizag, you will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with the founding team of a social-fintech app catered towards Indian communities. This role offers a unique chance to work on tangible products that will be used by real users, devoid of any theoretical concepts. Your responsibilities will include crafting clean and user-friendly UI screens primarily for mobile platforms using Figma. Additionally, you will engage in user research activities and make iterative design improvements based on feedback received. Collaboration with frontend developers to seamlessly transfer designs will also be a key aspect of your role. During your time with us, you will gain valuable insights into designing for authentic Indian audiences, particularly focusing on regional considerations and mobile-centric design approaches. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your skills in UI/UX tools such as Figma, FigJam, and Zeplin, and experience agile collaboration within a dynamic startup environment. We are looking for candidates with basic proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD, a strong eye for visual design, and a willingness to accept and act upon feedback. Additionally, a curious mindset and a desire to continuously learn and grow are highly valued. Any prior knowledge of design systems or micro-interactions will be considered a bonus. This is a full-time position that requires your presence at the physical work location.
