UI/UX Design Internship

As an intern at Hatio Innovations, the design and innovation arm of BillDesk, you will have the opportunity to work on real fintech and high-impact digital products. The internship is located in Kochi and has a duration of 6 months starting immediately with a competitive stipend. Here's what you can expect: **Role Overview:** You will have hands-on experience working on live platforms used by millions, with structured mentorship from senior designers. You will be exposed to real product design processes such as research, wireframes, prototyping, usability, and handoff. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to create production-ready case studies for your portfolio and potentially secure a full-time role as a Junior UI/UX Designer based on your performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Designing screens, flows, and micro-interactions - Creating wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys - Contributing to design system components - Running UX reviews and heuristic evaluations - Conducting quick secondary research to support features - Preparing design documents, presentations, and case studies - Collaborating with product managers and developers during handoff **Qualifications Required:** - Solid grip on Figma, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping - Understanding of basic UI/UX principles and usability fundamentals - Good design eye for layout, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy - Eagerness to learn, experiment, and adapt - Ability to collaborate smoothly and communicate ideas clearly - Bonus: Experience with interaction design, design systems, or UX writing - Bonus: Interest in fintech, SaaS, or complex product design Hatio Innovations offers a learning-focused environment where feedback and growth are integral to daily work.
