Description
As a UI & UX Designer at GeekyAnts, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of creating design solutions that leave a lasting visual impact. Your role will involve actively listening to clients, comprehending their requirements, and subsequently making informed design decisions. Your skills in UX design methodology, user interface design, Figma, creativity, visualization, Adobe Photoshop, and excellent communication are imperative for this role. Additionally, proficiency in interactive design, Adobe XD, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Principle, and Sketch would be beneficial. Your designs will cater to a diverse range of products and activities including websites, web applications, mobile applications, computer & mobile games, corporate communications, and corporate identity, thereby contributing significantly to the organization's visual brand. A strong working knowledge of low fidelity/high fidelity wireframes and the ability to create high-impact visuals will be essential for this role. Collaboration with clients, creative directors, or account managers will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will be expected to develop innovative ideas and concepts, selecting suitable media and styles to align with the clients" objectives. It is important to note that this role not only encompasses graphic design but also entails substantial involvement in user and product research, emphasizing the importance of asking pertinent questions. Your role will involve meeting clients to understand business objectives, estimating project timelines, ideating new concepts, demonstrating illustrative skills through sketches and wireframes, and staying updated on emerging technologies in new media. A professional approach towards communication, time management, costs, and deadlines is essential in executing your tasks effectively. Your educational qualifications should include a graduation degree along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field. An impressive portfolio showcasing your design work would be highly appreciated during the selection process. The selection process will include an automated video call assessment, focusing on your communication and design skills. This round will be conducted in a comfortable environment, lasting approximately 30 minutes. Ensure that you have your resume ready and a stable internet connection for a smooth interaction. Following this, an assignment will be provided via email, which should be completed within 2 to 3 days. Further rounds will consist of one-to-one in-person interviews through Google Meet with the Lead Designer, Associate Director of Design for technical assessments & review, and HR representatives of GeekyAnts.
