Role & responsibilities 1. Bioprocess Maintenance: Perform routine and breakdown maintenance of bioreactors, fermenters, autoclaves, centrifuges, and other upstream/downstream processing equipment. Carry out calibration and servicing of process sensors, control valves, and transmitters used in bioprocess applications. Maintain compliance with GMP practices during equipment handling and repair. Coordinate with the production and QA teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities. Maintain documentation of maintenance activities as per SOP and regulatory standards. Involve in installation, commissioning, and validation of new bioprocess equipment. 2. Process Maintenance: Maintain filling line equipment like vial washing machines, tunnel sterilizers, vial filling & sealing machines, and lyophilizers. Perform troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues. Monitor and maintain clean utility systems such as WFI, Pure Steam, Compressed Air, and HVAC systems. Ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance plans to avoid downtime. Support audits and provide documentation for validation, calibration, and maintenance. Implement equipment upgrades and improvements to enhance efficiency. Skills Required: Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of biopharma/injectable equipment. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Familiarity with GMP, EHS, and cleanroom practices. Basic understanding of PLC, SCADA, and automation systems (preferred).
