Role & responsibilities Job Summary: The Academic Counsellor is responsible for counselling the potential students to get them enrolled for the appropriate courses they are eligible to get. Alongside, driving individual and team sales target. and fostering relationships with the potential students. This role involves understanding the unique needs of students, promoting educational products and services, and delivering solutions that enhance learning outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, an understanding of educational products, and excellent interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Sales Development: Identify potential candidates from relevant data and counsel them to get them enrolled. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and students needs. Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of the products and services offered by the company. Stay updated on industry trends, educational standards, and competitor offerings. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Track sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline progress using CRM software. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement. Prepare and deliver regular sales reports to management. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Coordinate with the content development team to provide feedback from clients and suggest improvements. Training and Development: Attend training sessions and workshops to stay informed about new products and sales techniques. Share best practices and insights with colleagues to enhance team performance. Preferred candidate profile We are looking for candidates with experience in Sales from any industry Responsible to convert leads generated to Walkins through effective tele counselling and other sources Handling Walkin and telephonic enquiries. Giving presentations to students Supervising admission and payment procedures for necessary documentation. Assisting students in documentation and in the application process.

Key Responsibilities Counselling & Consultation Understand the educational background, goals, and needs of prospective students. Guide them on suitable teacher training courses Explain course structure, content, duration, fees, certification, and career prospects. Sales Conversion Persuade and motivate potential students to enroll by highlighting course benefits and success stories. Handle objections professionally and provide appropriate solutions. Achieve or exceed monthly enrollment targets. Follow-Up & Relationship Building Maintain regular communication with interested candidates. Build rapport and provide updates or answers to queries. CRM & Data Management Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and conversions. Update lead status and remarks in the CRM. Product Knowledge Stay updated with all available courses, their features, certification details, and career outcomes. Understand market trends and competitor offerings. Collaboration Coordinate with the academic, support, and marketing teams to ensure accurate information sharing. Provide feedback from leads for continuous course and service improvement. Reporting Submit daily/weekly performance reports on leads contacted, demos booked, conversions, and revenue. Customer Support (Pre-enrollment) Resolve all queries related to course suitability, career prospects, and payment options before enrollment. Assist with technical guidance related to online course platforms or payment gateways. Compliance & Ethics Ensure honest representation of course benefits. Follow organizational policies and data privacy guidelines. Job Insights: Understanding Student Needs : Counselors should first understand the specific needs, goals, and challenges of each student. Ask open-ended questions to gather information about their academic interests, career aspirations, and any obstacles they face. Highlighting Course Benefits : Clearly articulate the unique benefits and features of your courses. Explain how these courses can help students achieve their academic and career goals. Addressing Concerns : Be prepared to address common concerns or objections, such as cost, time commitment, and relevance. Provide information about financial aid, flexible scheduling, and how the courses are designed to be practical and relevant. Success Stories and Testimonials : Share success stories and testimonials from former students who have benefited from the courses. This can provide social proof and build trust. Follow-Up : Follow up with students after the initial counseling session. Provide additional information, answer any lingering questions, and offer encouragement. Building Relationships : Build a rapport with students to establish a long-term relationship. Show genuine interest in their success and well-being. Qualifications:
