Your work profile

• As a Product SME/ Lead Business Analyst - Core Banking with deep expertise in Core Banking platforms and products to drive requirements, solutioning, and delivery across key core banking domains.
• The candidate will act as the functional lead and subject matter expert responsible for requirements management, product solutioning, stakeholder alignment, testing support, and functional delivery across product areas including Accounts, Deposits, Escrow, Cash Collateral, Branch Banking, Tax, Accounting Entries, Regulatory Reporting, and integrations with surrounding banking systems.
• The role will act as the functional bridge between Product, Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Testing and Business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Core Banking transformation initiatives.
• The role requires strong knowledge of core banking operations, product processing, accounting events, financial reporting impacts, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience of one or more leading Core Banking platforms such as Oracle FLEXCUBE, Temenos Transact (T24), Intellect Design IDC, Infosys Finacle, Hogan, FIS Profile, IBS, Systematic, DigitalOne, MBP and Horizon, Thought Machine Vault, TCS BaNCS, Mambu etc.
• Strong experience across CASA Products (Current Accounts / Savings Accounts), Fixed Deposits, Term Deposits, Notice Deposits, Escrow Accounts, Cash Collateral Accounts, Interest and Charges Processing, Account Servicing, Branch Banking Operations, Positive Pay (Cheque Processing Services), Interest & Charges, Tax Processing, Accounting Entries / GL Integration, Regulatory & Management Reporting, Integration Management (like Payments Platforms, Customer Onboarding Systems, Digital Channels, Treasury / FX Systems, CRM Platforms, General Ledger Systems), Stakeholder Management, Testing & Delivery Support.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the functional SME for Core Banking products and capabilities.
• Drive requirements from inception through implementation.
• Review and refine BRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Define detailed user journeys, product workflows and end-to-end process flows.
• Identify, analyse and resolve requirement gaps and ambiguities.
• Facilitate workshops with business, operations and product stakeholders.
• Provide functional guidance to Product, Technology, Testing, and Operations teams.
• Drive functional solution discussions with Product, Operations and Technology teams.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with product requirements.
• Perform impact assessments across dependent systems and processes.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and operationally efficient.
• Lead requirement workstreams for large banking transformation programs.
• Drive stakeholder governance across Product, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Technology.
• Mentor Business Analysts and Functional Consultants.
• Own requirement quality and functional sign-offs.Provide strategic product recommendations and solution direction.
