General Manager Sales, North India Roles and Responsibilities Strong leadership skills to provide guidance, support, and mentoring to help his or her team achieve sales targets and company objectives. Ability to establish trusting and constructive relationships. Strong sales and negotiation skills to close deals and secure new business. Develop and implement long-term strategic plans that support business growth. Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Promote innovation and change that will steer the business in the right direction and lay the foundation for ongoing success. Possess analytical skills to recognise patterns in market trends, competitor activity, and customer data, enabling the identification of growth opportunities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining client relationships. Setting high standards for work and supporting your team members in developing by encouraging them to push boundaries. Actively pursue new sales opportunities through networking and social media, and assist his/her team in closing new business. Develop dealers and key corporate accounts in your assigned region. Set sales targets for your team and track progress to meet planned sales goals. Collaborate with team members of other departments and verticals to achieve better results. Responsible for meeting targets, collecting dues on time, and managing P&L for the assigned region. Develop time management skills to set priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Requirements and skills Proven minimum 10-15 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the selling of Commercial Kitchen equipment or related products in a senior position. Ability to handle team members. In-depth knowledge about the Hospitality industry Chefs with flair for business development and sales would be a big plus Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations Fast learner with a passion for sales Good communication skills Excellent knowledge of MS Office Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus Qualifications: Masters in Business Administration or equivalent Awareness about social media and digital marketing is a plus Note: Anyone drawing less than 20 Lakhs annually need not apply.
