TRIS Generalist Engineer (AWS)

You are a highly skilled and experienced TRIS Generalist Engineer with a strong focus on AWS security. In this role based in Bangalore with a hybrid work model, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing security policies and controls across the AWS environment. With more than 6 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of infrastructure as code, policy enforcement, and specialization in domains like IAM, Cloud, Data, or Network security. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and managing security policies and controls within AWS using tools like Terraform Sentinel and OPA Gatekeeper. You will develop and maintain automated security checks and guardrails for AWS infrastructure and applications, integrate security tools into the CI/CD pipeline, collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to security best practices and regulatory requirements, conduct security assessments and audits of AWS environments, and specialize in IAM, Cloud Security, Data Security, or Network Security domains. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, along with 6+ years of experience in cloud security or generalist engineering with a focus on AWS. Proficiency in tools like Terraform Sentinel, OPA Gatekeeper, Git, and Github is required. You should have a strong understanding of AWS security services and best practices, as well as expertise in at least one security domain. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification, experience with other security tools and technologies, familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, scripting skills for automation, and experience with other cloud providers like Azure or GCP. In this role, you will stay up-to-date with the latest AWS security features, provide technical guidance to engineering teams, troubleshoot and resolve security incidents, and work effectively in a hybrid work environment.,
