Travel Sales Consultant

Job Description

Interact with clients to understand their travel requirements and preferences. Design and recommend customized travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, transport, and sightseeing. Convert inquiries into bookings and meet sales targets. Provide accurate information about travel destinations, costs, insurance, visa processes, and relevant travel documentation. Upsell additional services such as travel insurance, excursions, or upgrades. Handle client issues, changes, or complaints professionally and efficiently. Keep up-to-date with travel trends, restrictions, and destination knowledge. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client communications using CRM software. Collaborate with suppliers, airlines, and hotel partners for reservations and confirmations. Attend training sessions and participate in marketing or promotional activities. Requirements: Proven experience as a travel consultant or in a similar sales/customer service role. Strong knowledge of domestic and international destinations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure. Proficiency in travel booking systems (GDS/Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre) is an advantage. Attention to detail, organizational and multitasking abilities. Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field preferred. Preferred candidate profile
