Responsibilities
Speaking with customers about their travel needs and preferences
Helping customers plan the details of their trip, including transportation, lodging and entertainment
Advising customers about locations, travel dates and transport
Coordinating events on travel itineraries, such as tours and local attractions
Booking tickets and reservations
Resolving complaints and travel issues
Calculating costs and collecting payments
Core Competencies
Written and verbal communication
Customer service and sales
Attention to detail
Proficiency with computer technology and telephones
Knowledge of trends in the travel and tourism industry
Requirements And Preferences
Bachelor's Degree in Travel and Tourism or a relevant discipline
Multilingualism
At least two years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
Personal travel experience (preferred)
