Trainee - Production Technician

The role of Production Line Operator involves overseeing the operations of independent production lines and handling finished goods packing. Additionally, you will be responsible for administrative tasks within the production department, including maintaining production data statistics. Your primary goal will be to continually enhance performance in safety, quality, and productivity. In this role, you will need to adhere to HSE regulations and rules in your daily operations to achieve the Goal Zero target. Managing day-to-day line operations according to process orders, such as line start-ups, changeovers, line operations, and finished goods packing, must be done with a focus on product quality. It will be your responsibility to verify and ensure that finished goods are packaged with zero defects in product quality. Moreover, you will be accountable for recording and checking each finished bag for issues like cross-contamination, stitching, and stacking of finished goods. Maintaining good housekeeping in the shop floor to uphold the workplace in the required basic condition is also crucial. Furthermore, you will be expected to perform the duties of a reliever in the production department, keeping proper records of manpower availability during shifts and reporting to the shift leader. The minimum qualification for this position is a Diploma in Plastic/Polymer from CIPET or another reputable college or university. A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is required. Critical competencies or skills for this role include awareness of IATF 16949:2016 and EMS 14001:2015 standards, basic knowledge of MS Office, and good written and verbal communication skills.
