Trainee HR Executive

Job Summary

Ortus International School is looking for a responsible and enthusiastic Trainee HR to support the school’s human resources and staff administration activities. This is an entry-level opportunity for a candidate who is keen to learn HR processes in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining staff records and updating employee information.
• Support recruitment activities, including arranging interviews and communicating with applicants.
• Assist with joining formalities and document collection for new staff.
• Help maintain attendance, leave and other HR records.
• Support the preparation of HR letters, reports and staff communication.
• Respond politely to routine staff queries and direct other queries to the appropriate person.
• Handle confidential information carefully.
• Carry out other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field; fresh graduates may apply.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Willingness to learn HR procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Previous internship or administrative experience is an advantage.
