Trainee Engineer React JS-Technical Support

As a React.JS developer at CometChat, your primary responsibility will be: - Answering and solving customer queries via live chat, email, and calls - Developing a deep understanding of the Product - Learning the codebase - how classes/components/functions/events work together and affect each other - Helping customers implement a chat solution by walking them step by step through any aspect of the integration process that is giving them trouble - Knowing the documentation inside and out to find the correct documents for customer issues - Analyzing customer codebase errors to identify whether the root cause lies with the customer's implementation or CometChat's platform - Diagnosing product bugs by replicating customer-reported issues using CometChat sample applications - Replying to support requests via chat and email - including technical and nontechnical support queries - Joining and leading customer calls where customers explain and show code-based errors and issues - Working on minor bug fixes Qualifications required for this role include: - Understanding of OOP concepts - Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills - Proficient understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), JSX, and React principles - Ability to write code for the given problem - Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Knowledge of any coding/scripting languages such as HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, NodeJs would be an added advantage - Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly - Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment --- CometChat is a full-stack conversational platform that unifies real-time conversations, AI Agents, moderation, notifications, and analytics in one modular, developer-first solution.
