The Manager-Production for 2 Chloro Pyridine at Bharuch will be responsible for executing production in shifts, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, and managing costs within the budget. Reporting to the Section In Charge/Plant Manager, the key responsibilities include overseeing the smooth and safe operation of the 2CP and MEE section, ensuring adherence to defined SOPs, filling necessary documentation accurately, addressing any deviations or abnormalities, and maintaining equipment healthiness. Additionally, the Manager-Production will be in charge of maintaining proper housekeeping, handling incident reporting and root cause analysis, preparing work permits for maintenance activities, coordinating with engineering and safety departments, supporting shutdown preparations, and overseeing team development and capacity utilization. Driving initiatives like TPM and WCM while upholding the highest standards of quality and promoting responsible care practices are also part of the role. With 5-6 reportees, the ideal candidate should possess a B.E/B. Tech in Chemical Engineering or BSc/MSc in Chemistry with over 15 years of experience in continuous chemical processes. Competencies required include knowledge of continuous chemical processes, operation of various equipment, SOP/WI preparation, adherence to quality and safety norms, manpower handling, familiarity with WCM and TPM/TQM concepts, and experience with DCS/PLC based control systems in plants.,
