We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tourist Guide Trainer to conduct training sessions for aspiring tour guides in communication, hospitality, local history, and tourist engagement. This is a full-time position based in Durgapur, ITI College, West Bengal. Please note that this requirement is for trainers, not trainees. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on tour guiding techniques. - Teach trainees about heritage sites, local history, cultural etiquette, and tourist safety. - Develop curriculum and training materials. - Train on soft skills such as storytelling, communication, and customer service. - Conduct mock guiding tours and assessments. - Guide trainees on professional ethics and emergency protocols. - Stay updated with tourism trends and new destinations. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Tourism, History, Hospitality, or related field (preferred). - Proven work experience as a Tourist Guide or Trainer (2+ years preferred). - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong knowledge of local culture, geography, and heritage. - Ability to inspire and lead groups.
