We are seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure-based SaaS environments. This role bridges product deployment, customer onboarding, and L2-level support, ensuring that client implementations are smooth, stable, and optimized for performance. You will work closely with the Customer Success and Support teams to execute deployments, run backend scripts, troubleshoot data-level issues, and maintain system health for enterprise clients. Key ResponsibilitiesImplementation & Deployment Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of the Azure-hosted SaaS product for enterprise customers. Deploy and maintain Azure resources (App Services, SQL Database, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Functions, etc.). Integrate customer systems using REST APIs, Webhooks, and Azure AD (SSO) . Conduct data migration and environment setup activities using SQL and automation tools. Validate configurations and perform UAT support prior to go-live. Microsoft SQL Server & Backend Operations Execute, optimize, and troubleshoot T-SQL scripts , stored procedures, and data correction queries. Perform backend investigations on production data (read-only or controlled write operations). Analyze query performance, deadlocks, and optimize database-level configurations for scalability. Collaborate with DevOps to monitor SQL resource utilization and tune queries for better performance. Generate and validate ad-hoc reports or extracts based on client requests. L2 Support & Troubleshooting Serve as the L2 escalation point for customer issues requiring SQL or configuration-level investigation. Collaborate with L1 support to identify recurring issues and recommend preventive measures. Work with Engineering to replicate and resolve product defects found in live environments. Maintain documentation of recurring SQL fixes, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures.
